Insurance claims

You have already had the bad day. We deal with your adjuster, the estimate and the paperwork so that part is not yours as well.

Insurance claims

We do the phoning

A claim is mostly admin, and admin is mostly phone calls. You get to pick the shop, whatever anybody tells you. If you pick this one, the calls come here instead of to you.

Starting the claim

Call your insurer, get a claim number, then call us with it. That is the whole of your side of it. You are entitled to choose where the work gets done, even when a call centre suggests otherwise.

  • Bring the claim number and your policy
  • We contact the adjuster
  • Damage photographed and documented
  • Estimate written and submitted
  • Approval chased up
  • Deductible explained up front

The estimate

Collision damage hides. When something turns up once the panel is off, that goes back to the adjuster as a supplement rather than onto your bill without warning.

  • Written estimate before work starts
  • Supplements handled with the adjuster
  • Parts options explained
  • Direct billing where the insurer allows
  • You approve anything outside the claim
  • Copies of everything for your file

While it is in

You get a realistic date, not an optimistic one, and a call if that date moves.

  • A timeline you can plan around
  • Rental and courtesy car paperwork
  • Updates as the work moves
  • Mechanical faults from the collision caught too
  • Washed and checked over before pickup

Bring us the claim number

Call with the claim number and the insurer. We will take it from there.
